Finding out how much you can borrow is a very complex area, as each lender will look to use your income and expenditure in different ways.
You may find one lender will use the office of national statistics for your expenditure, but another will ask you to input all of your expenditure, another will use 100% of all your income, but another may only use 50% of your overtime, or not include child benefit.
This calculator will give you an indication of what you could look to borrow, but this will be subject to your current situation and expenditure.
